Forma Notes is a calm Markdown notebook that lives on your device. Every note is encrypted before it’s saved, and nothing leaves your computer unless you export it.

Sketch beside your words
Draw with a pen, finger or mouse, with pressure, colours and an eraser. Drawings stay editable and are encrypted like everything else.

Drag a tab to the edge to open it in a new pane. Each pane keeps its own tabs, and any tab can move out into a window of its own.

Forma Notes encrypts your vault on your device, so only ciphertext ever reaches the disk. There’s no server, no account and no copy of your notes anywhere you didn’t put one. Add a passphrase and the app locks itself when you step away.
